Work Experience (optional)

The optional third stage is for those candidates who have completed the above stages successfully and wish to have Work Experience with ScribeForce. ScribeForce offers either a three month or six month work experience. Candidates on work experience get advanced training with ‘live’ audio files from general practices and hospitals in the UK. The audio files are ‘confidentiality protected’ to protect patient identifiable information and comply with the Data Protection Act. All the work carried out by the candidates is subject to quality control with appropiate feedback to identify ways to improve quality and accuracy. There is a requirement for candidates who enroll for the work experience to sign a work experience contract with ScribeForce which includes non-disclosure and confidentaily agreements. At the end of the work experience, successful candidates get the work references to assist in employment opportunities with NHS and private hospitals or other transcription companies.

In addition, a selection of candidates in the work experience programme who are top performing and rated highly will have access to employment opportunities directly with ScribeForce.
